Circle January Monthly Challenge: Scraplift a Circle Blog Project

Challenge Rules:
For this month’s challenge we would like to see you scraplift one of the projects you have seen us present here on the blog. It can be anything! And feel free to add your own creative twist to the project. Project must be newly created for this challenge and should include the following elements to qualify.
  • Use 2 or more Cricut Cuts on the project.
  • Use a project you have seen on the Cricut Circle Blog as inspiration for your project.
  • Use products from atleast two of our Sponsors

I made this with my Mom in mind.  She has been sick and I wanted to make her a Get Well gift and instead of a card I thought I would make her a Kleenex Box.
    Recipe:
  • I used a Gypsy cut file for the tissue box shared by Cindy Royal on our Circle Blog
  • Lori's Garden Imagine Cartridge for paper print and the layered 1.7 inch Hummingbirds
  • Cuttlebug Quilled Carnation Kit for flowers
  • Dew Drop Desert Sand Dye Ink
  • The sponsors I used for my project are Imaginisce i-rock gems and a lot of white Bazzill Cardstock to print all the paper from Lori's Garden Imagine Cartridge.
I also made an double layer of the Bazzill paper (even though it is awesome quality) I wanted the tissue box extra durable and used my pink ATG gun to glue the two layers together.  Hope you like it!  Thanks for looking!

Circle Weekly Challenge #17: B.A.B.Y.

Circle Weekly Challenge #17:  B.A.B.Y.

At first glance, you may think this challenge is all about babies . . . but look again! We are usually the memory keepers in our households, but how often do you take the opportunity to step out from behind the camera and record something about yourself? This week we challenge you to create a scrapbook layout all about YOU. Your page must include the following:
  • (B) = Brads
  • (A) = Aqua
  • (B) = Butterfly
  • (Y) = You as the Subject

I have to admit....I haven't made a scrapbook page before -> (you can probably tell).  I feel like it needs more of something and I really wanted the photos a little smaller but I will have to figure this out as I start my scrapbooking.   Well I hope you like it!  TFL

Recipe:
S.e.i. Addison Paper Stack
Cricut Cartridge Straight from the Nest
Imagine Cartridge JT for color fill
Brads
Imaginisce Bling
Celebrate it Ribbon
Hero Arts Sentiment Stamp
Dew Drop Red Brick Chalk Ink

Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #16: Cute As a Button Sketch Challenge

Cute As a Button Sketch Challenge

Okay here it is....the next Valentines Card for our Baby Girl, Lakyn.  She is our little Night Owl.  She gets up pretty much every night.  I am not real happy with this card.  Maybe I have been looking at it too long but I think it is way too busy.  We will see how it looks after I get some sleep.  Either way I know my daughter will love it so that is what matters!

I used Holiday Cakes Cartridge for the whole card and I designed it first with my Gypsy and cut it all out at once.  Stamps are from Michaels Dollar selection.

Challenge Rules:

Babies are definitely “cute as a button” with their sweet little faces and tiny features. In honor of our Baby Theme, this week we challenge you to create a SCRAPBOOK PAGE or CARD using the sketch below. Your project doesn’t need to follow the sketch exactly, but it should be apparent that you used it as inspiration. Feel free to turn it on it’s side or move elements to fit what you are doing. In addition to using the sketch, we also want you to incorporate STAMPING and BUTTONS (of course!).
Project must be newly created for this challenge and must include atleast 2 different cuts from any Cricut cartridge to qualify

Circle Weekly Challenge #14: Getting In Shape!

Sorry I have been gone so long.  I have been so busy over the holidays and I am finally able to come back and get started on new projects for the year.  Well here it is a Valentine's Card for my baby girl!  I started with my youngest daughter; Taleah. She is 2 years old and has really been into dress up lately so I thought she would really enjoy this card.

Rules for Circle Weekly Challenge #14:  Getting In Shape!
According to polls, “getting in shape” is among the Top Ten Resolutions people make each New Year’s Eve. Let’s do it! Let’s start the New Year off right by getting in shape . . . a shape other than a rectangle. We challenge you to create a project in a shape other than a square or rectangle. Your project must also include a number somewhere and bling of some kind (to go along with this week’s theme of “Blinging in the New Year”!  Must include at least 2 different cuts from any cricut cartridge to qualify.

I designed this heart card on my Gypsy.  I have been very bad about making anything on my Gypsy and I think it should be my New Year's Resolution to use it way more often!  I love my Gypsy but just don't know much about how to use all the awesome features so I avoid using it.

Recipe:
Smiley Cards Cartridge: Heart Card 11.54 x 5.35
Twinkle Toes Cartridge: Girl 2.52 x 3.38
Simply Charmed: Little Heart .98 x 2.02
i-Rock for the Bling on the belt and bows
Pattern Paper for Heart is from DCWV the Sweet Stack
Stamps from Michaels (sorry don't know brands)
Black Marker for Stitch around the hearts
