Cricut Circle October Monthly Challenge: CELEBRATING CREATIVITY

I have never enjoyed making anything more than I enjoyed making this project for my Craft Room.  I made 3 hanging pictures to match my Cricut Circle Certificate that I had already framed and added my own creativity to it as soon as it arrived in the mail. I had a couple old pictures that my Mom always had hanging on my bedroom walls when I was a little girl but they were a little banged up and they don't go with my daughters bedroom decor anyway so I decided to repurpose them and use them for my October Monthly Challenge: Celebrating Creativity.  I will also post the old pictures that I used to make my project.

I used my blog name on the 3 pictures OWL, BEE, & SCRAPPIN and then made each picture to tell the Celebrating Creativity Story.  Thank you Provo Craft for such a fun project and the chance to win the most awesome prize!!

My Old Pictures
They hung on my bedroom wall for many years when I was a little girl.

The pictures were glued to these particle board pieces.  I had my husband cut them for me so I could make the Owl, Bee, & Scrappin Pictures.

This is the group of all the pictures I have made for my Craft Room.  I love bright colors and don't use them really for my home decor but in my craft room anything goes!

Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge 4: Boo!

Okay I was going to enter into this weeks Challenge Friday for Cricut Circle but I obviously forgot what day it was and didn't get it posted in time so I decided I will still put it on my blog.  I made this Halloween Candle Holder out of plastic that my Sizzix was packaged in.  It was all I could find in my craft room that was transparent.  It was fun being creative and I decided to do something my husband would like and he loves the skull and crossbones so this project will now belong to him.

I wish I could get a picture when it is dark and all lit up because it really does look cool.  I won't post those pics I have because my camera just does not do it justice in the dark.

Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #3: AUTUMN SPLENDOR!

I made my card for the Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #3: AUTUMN SPLENDOR!  I really enjoyed making this card Gate fold pop up card because I love fall and I have never made anything for this season before now.  I made a Gate Fold Card and then decided to change it up a little by having it open the opposite way and leaving a couple inches on one side that would not open.  I wanted to make my digi stamp pop up when the card is opened.  The free digi stamp I used is from an awesome site you can find here http://www.digitaldelightsbyloubyloo.com/   This is the second digi stamp I have tried.  I really love digi stamps I just need to get better at it and find some good markers or pencils that would be easier for me to work with that don't cost a fortune.  Hope you like the card and TFL!!

Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #2 Think Pink!

This is my card for the Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #2 Think Pink!  I had a lot of fun doing the card.  I really need better markers for blending....maybe I didn't use the correct paper?  I went for somewhat of a distressed look on different parts of the card so I wasn't trying to make it perfect anyway.  For at least 3 requirements in the challenge I used pink, scallop, jewels, & glitter.  I only had three cuts with my Cricut but the challenge only called for 2.  Be gentle on me I have never done digi stamping before and this was a cute freebie I decided to try.  TFL

Weekly Circle Challenge #1: OOH, LA LA! FRENCH MANOR!

Weekly Challenge #1: OOH, LA LA! FRENCH MANOR!

I made this stationary set for the weekly Cricut Circle Challenge Friday using the French Manor Cartridge.  I had a lot of fun making this and wanted to make it in colors that my 12 year old daughter has in her room so she could have it on her desk.  TFL
