Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #9: Black Friday

This weeks weekly challenge must include the color black in our project and recycle or repurpose something.  Project must be newly created for this challenge and must include at least 2 different cuts from any Cricut cartridge to qualify.  I decided to use a shoe box for my ribbon that I just bought.  I ran out of space on my ribbon holders so this was the perfect solution for me.  I used the following items:

*Small Shoe Box
*Black Paper
*12 x 12 sheet of polka dot paper from Imagine Audrey Cartridge
*Celebrate It Ribbon and I used weld on Gypsy
*French Manor Cartridge for other cut
*Silver Bling Gems between Daisy Chain letters

November Cricut Circle Monthly Challenge - Home Sweet Home

The theme for this month’s challenge is all about cozying up your home with Handmade Home Decor! Need to create a home decor project. Project must be newly created for this challenge and should include the following elements to qualify:
  • Use atleast one Cricut Cartridge Cut
  • Use the Cuttlebug in some way (embossing folder, Cuttlebug die, Quilling kit, etc.)
  • Use Felt in some way
  • Use the color GREEN somewhere on your project

My 12 year old daughter wanted something to hold her markers and she has a blue room with Zebra Stripe bedding so this was made to match her room.

*Zebra is size 4 and from Create a Critter
*Tulip is size 2.5 and is from Create a Critter
*Celebrate It Zebra Ribbon
*Pink flower on Zebra is a fabric Imaginisce flower and a pink Bling gem
*Blue Felt covers the lid
*Zebra flowers on top where made with the Cuttlebug Quilled Daisy Kit.  I used white paper and used a zebra print stamp to make the zebra petals.

Cricut Circle November Magazine Ornament Challenge

Samantha

Lakyn

Taleah

I made 3 ornaments for the Cricut Circle November Magazine Challenge.  I had to make 3 because I have 3 girls and we buy them an ornament every year but this year is a little tight so what better thing to do than make one for each of them.  I have cardboard tubes cut and painted in silver with silver ribbon wrapped around it and silver bling surrounding the outside and inside.  I used the Hello Kitty Greetings Cart and made her 4.5 on my Imagine.  I used Recollections Foil Paper for the Silver shirts and on the petals that I made with the Quilled Daisy Flower Kit that you use with the Cuttlebug.  The rest of the paper was custom from the Imagine and the Mr. Frosty Imagine Cart.  I also used Martha Stewart Glitter for Hello Kitty and the Hat.  It is hard to see in the pictures but it looks really cute with the glitter. Last but not least I used the i-rock for the nose and the silver buttons on the shirt.  TFL

Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #6: Feathered Friends

I made this card for the Circle Weekly Challenge.  I used the Flamingo Digi and Sentiment from Digital Delights.  They have the cutest Digis there and they give away a freebie every week.  I colored the Flamingo with Martha Stewart Pencils and Markers.  I also used my Home Decor' Cart to make the frame around the Flamingo and my Everyday Paper Dolls to make the bow.  I used Matha Stewart glitter on the bow, i-rock for the gems, My Minds Eye Organic Glitter Paper and white snowflake buttons that I inked red then wiped off with a tissue to get the pinkish color.  I inked and sewed around the sentiment.  I probably would have done more sewing if it would have worked better for me.  I did a trial run and it worked perfect until I tried it on the actual card then tension wasn't right.  Go Figure :)  Well...Thanks for looking and if you joined in on the Challenge...Good Luck!

Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #5: Birthday Sketch

This is my Cricut Circle Birthday Sketch Challenge.  I love the colors in this card and I had a lot of fun using a sketch!  I never used a sketch before and I really enjoyed it and look forward to doing another one soon.  I used the Imagine Mr. Frosty Cart to print out the pink paper on the background, I made a 4 inch circle from the Imagine More Cart, Happy Birthday is from Gypsy Wanderings, and the Love You is from the Imagine Best Friends Cart.  I cut off the flower on the Love You tag and made a jagged cut to match the other side. The frames are cut from Sizzix Original Die frames 655002 and I cut them with chipboard as well as paper to add dimension.  I used brown and pink inks, Imaginisce Blossoms, buttons, and ribbon.  TFL
